I used to lie to my brother that I saw Santa put gifts under the tree. That'll catch up with me some day, sure.

I did the hiding behind a chair thing on mine too. We've all done it when we were kids. Sometimes I wish I could now. Nice feeling of late night in this piece.

A bit out of season, but nicely done.
Funny thing about this piece is that Santa looks a bit disappointed in the cookies. Expecting aqua vitae, was he?

When I was six, I left a hand-written affadavit near some cookies that Santa had to sign to prove his identity. Gotta love six-year-old logic.

Well that can be a dangerous activity if you get caught by Santa....

A reminder of Christmas is nice any time of the year. I like those expressions, very warm and real, and love the cozy look of this piece. I like your take on "hide", it's unique, and of course your style is as well.
