IF - Communication

I miss those days when my cousins and I used to write to eachother (VIA AIR MAIL) - There's just nothing quite like the good ol' letters you know?

I don't miss 'em. Probably because I associate them with the guilt I felt when I failed to write back.

I totally agree. I've been thinking about that lately (as I've been sorting through some great old ones). Lovely sense of longing in the image. She looks like she's waiting for someone to write back but suspects they won't.

There is nothing like real letters. I love to see them full of seals. VIA AIR MAIL those are magical words!

You look beautiful waiting, Mitchie :)

I miss these days, too. I still buy pretty stationary and decorate my envelopes. It is a lost art. It's a nice feeling to receive something in the mail aside from bills and junk mail.

Cute illo!

Cute girl - and nice drawing.

I don't miss the letters. I wrote letters before and got some again. But now I write and receive more e-mails than letters before. Some emails would'n be written in letters. I think it's easier to hold the contact with family and friends with e-mails than letters.

yes I know that, sometimes I wait also in front of my letter-box.... I like to send and to receive mail... But at this time I am taken by the time, and alas I don't write enough ;o)
Very beautiful illustration, and I hope that you will quickly receive the mail until you wait :o)

Yes, letters are sweet, and E-mails are efficient-most of the time.
Nice take on the theme. The little girl standing quietly, anticipating the treasure waiting for her in the humble mailbox. Sweet scene and creative idea!
