Good one! Your dad sure has a 'cool' hairstyle :)
Nice haircut!
Nice haircut!
How nice! Ur dad must be such a bombón, Michelle.
I love ur illo and I love each tiny detail u put on it.
Have a nice weekend :)
That's really funny! i remember hating buzz haircuts growing up in an army school myself. thanks for making my day.
hiya mitchie!
nice one :-) this is a scene norman rockwell might have painted.
my dad gave me buzz cuts when i was little. my classmates would try to pull my hair afterward but it would be too short for them to grasp.
pero, que es un bombón, pati @-;--?
hi michelle,
this is so cute and so clever!
i like your barber pole :)
Hi, hi looks like someone I know :)
Very pretty illo!
P.D: Will be very flattering you featuring me Michelle. Ok course I'm ok with it. Thank you very much!! :)
Hi Michelle, So sweet, I love how your illos are so touchy, as well as nicely done.
Nice work! I love your fun playful style. Don't you just hate spam and all that evil crap? Why can't people just play nice...
wonderful illo! love your fun style :)
Hi Michelle! I think we kinda have the same take, only mine is about my son. I really love your illo, it's so cute! I especially love the red-white-blue spinning sign outside the barber shop!
That is so cute! I love your story about your dad having the same military cut he's had since he served. I see that a lot. Maybe it's their trophy.
Hi Michelle,
This illo is terrific! I love the detail you include in every piece. Your story and image are quite charming. Keep it up!
Cheers,
Theresa
Another great one...I remember when I went through basic and got the mandatory buzz...actually scalped would have been more accurate...
Gr8 work- definitely the pik of the page, Congrats!
My dad used to get these haircuts because he LIKED them! I wonder what he was smoking? I used to call them George Gobel haircuts. (You're probably too young to know who he was.) Anyway, excellent illo!
Very nice job. This illo reminds me of Tom and Willy's barber shop on 185th st. Nice work.
very nice illustrations, i like the colors and the expresion very very nice

Your illo once again is funny, and bright energy fills this piece.
Your dads buzz cut looks very cool, he's right to keep it, why screw around with a good thing.
Full of fun as usual and very creative take for "buzz"!

I like the way the emotions play off of the two characters. Makes me long for those good old fashion barber shops!

My wife just buzzed what little hair I have this afternoon. My toddler woke from her nap and said, "Dad has no hair!"

Another great illustration- the expressions are great!
The barber's expression makes me think he's French for some reason.
I've been out of the army for 12 years and I still cut it close. Of course, I can't do much else- I don't have hair, I have Brillo. When I was a kid, mom used to scour pots on my head. Other kids had dandruff, I had that purple crap.
Great post for the theme. I'd forgotten 'bout buzz cuts. Beautiful.
