IF - CLEAR Waters of Hawaii

Diving in Hawaii is by far the best and the most fun experience i've done this summer— I was lucky enough to take good and clear pictures of different kinds of fish with my under water camera :)

Terrific drawing! Your pictures are always so well crafted, and they often bring back memories that I haven't thought about in awhile. Aren't the fish in Hawaii awesome? I wanted a sea turtle to swim by me so badly, and when one did, it was kinda scarey. I mean, they are pretty big and they look like if they bit, it would hurt.

Wonderful! I used to scuba dive and really loved it (and would again if all my gear hadn't gotten trashed on my last dive). You've perfectly captured the experience of diving in clear water with the light coming down and the clean sandy bottom.

Lovely! I really love snorkelling too. When my sister and I went to Queensland, we saw a green turtle, which must be one of our snorkelling highlights.

i've always loved to see the sketches great painters make -- because i usually like them more than the paintings! it goes to reinforce the notion that you have to know how to draw before you can learn to paint. it's a shame the sketches are getting fewer comments than the color illos.

the steam pic reminds me of the one hot dish i ate in thailand (jason's girlfriend wasn't with us to caution the waitress)

"when i was little" is far more poetic than the plastic army guys i used to play in the mud with . . . i used to be fascinated by the iridescent oil slicks in the runoff by the curb . . .

your rendering tiger is way too cute for an animal who gave you 16 stitches -- there you go seeing the best in everyone and every thing

"sorbetes" is maybe my favorite of all the new ones; i love "when i was little" too -- but you need one more scoop on the cone to match the story in sorbetes :-)

post some pictures from your dive in hawaii :-)

have you ever "colorized" your sketches? i think that could be a cool look, somewhere between painting and sketch.
